4) Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.) from a University/College recognized by UGC with minimum 50% marks in aggregate of all semesters/years.
- For SC/ST/PwBD candidates: 45% marks in aggregate (for posts reserved for such categories).
- Enrolment with Bar Council as an Advocate is mandatory.
5) Age Limit (as on notification date)
21 to 32 years. Upper-age relaxations apply as per Government rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen.
6) Experience (Post-Enrolment)
- Minimum 2 years as an Advocate after enrolment with Bar Council, or
- Minimum 2 years as a Law Officer in the Legal Department of a Bank/Financial Institution/Statutory Corporation/Company/State or Central Govt.

Pay scale and allowances as per LIC AAO norms (at par with other LIC AAO cadres) along with HRA/CCA, medical benefits, gratuity, leave, LTC etc., as admissible.
